Terms of Service

The short version

  • Only add sites you own, or sites whose owner said in writing that you can test them.
  • We look at your site but never change it. Our checks can miss things. A clean report does not mean your app is safe.
  • You pay once for each check. There is no subscription. Checks never expire. If a scan fails because of us, it's free.
  • Payments are final, unless the law says we must refund you.
  • If something goes wrong, the most we owe you is what you paid us in the last 12 months.

1. The service

LaunchMedic runs automatic checks on websites you have proven you own. The checks are gentle and do not change your site. We report possible security and uptime problems and suggest fixes.

2. Authorized use only

You may only add domains you own or that the owner has said in writing you may test. You must prove you own a domain before any scan. You agree to our Authorized-Use Policy. We may suspend accounts that try to scan other people's sites.

3. No guarantee

Scans do their best but only look at some things. A clean report does not mean your app is secure. The service and fix prompts are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. You must review any change made by you or an AI tool before you put it live.

4. Payments

Checks are sold one at a time or in packs, as one-time payments through Stripe. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Each scan of a verified app uses one check. Unused checks do not expire. A scan that fails because of an error on our side does not use a check. Prices do not include sales tax. Any tax is shown at checkout. Payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.

5. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, LaunchMedic's total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. We are not liable for lost data. We are not liable for losses caused by security problems we did or did not find.

6. Termination

You can delete your sites or account at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. We will email you about big changes. If you keep using the service, you accept the new terms.
